Job DescriptionYou would be contributing as a backend focused software engineer for a Cloud based application suite running on Kubernetes. Interact in a constructive manner with Product Owners and other stakeholders in order to:Estimate the complexity and the workloadChoose the most appropriate technical solution to meet the user requirements;Reach the optimal requirement artifact that will lead to a working software solution.Troubleshoot and resolve production issuesJOB DESCRIPTION:Design, develop, deploy and support Cloud applications, solutions as per business requirementsMaintain, modify, optimize and extend existing solutions as a part of support and performance optimization projects.Working together with other team members (dev/QA) to ensure high quality of delivered solutions.Ensuring good practices and high quality standards are implemented and followed.EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:2+ years of experience with developing end to end solutions using Microsoft Stack of Technologies. Knowledge of Java or other technologies is a bonus.Good understanding of software design & architecture principlesStrong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.Collaboration with Software Architect(s) and other technical groups within Eurofins (Includes design, documentation, prototyping and validation)Strong experience in designing and working with n-tier architecture solutionsExperience in test driven development and test automation on all levelsSKILLS REQUIRED:Strong working knowledge on server-side development on a .NET 6/7 stackGood understanding of relational databases (MS SQL)Understanding of NoSQL databases - document and key/value orientedExperience in developing Cloud native application (Azure or AWS) using Docker stackComfortable in unit testing and mocking for .NETUnderstanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and Object Oriented Design principlesStrong knowledge of software implementation best practices (e.g. SOLID)Able to provide technical recommendations and solve technical problemsMust be a quick learnerMethodology skills• AGILE Development (Scrum)PREFERED CANDIDATES: The successful candidate will have a self-motivated, get-it-done attitude; the ability to think critically; enjoy working with teams spread globally and across cultures; a desire to learn in new areas; and the discipline to pay attention to deadlines, details and quality. Good communication and interpersonal skillsQualificationsEngineering Degree in Computer Science/MCA or any other Bachelor’s degree with the relevant experienceAdditional InformationPersonal Qualities:Excellent analytical and problem solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSuccessful teamwork experience and demonstrated leadership abilities are requiredProven ability to transfer knowledge and stay aware of current trends and technical advancementsAbility to articulate and present different points-of-views on various technologies
