Business Analyst Production & Plant Maintenance in Slatina

Purpose of the Job Bekaert is leading transformation program to enhance the digital experience end-to-end that drive impact across multiple channels covering operations and commercial, with focus to improve relative cost position & cash utilization in manufacturing and supply chain operations, increase customer intimacy & conversion of marketing efforts in commercial. Your Role Your role as Business Analyst for Production and Plant Maintenance to act as the intermediary between the business and IT, You are accountable for gathering input from business teams, writing usable requirements (or stories) and translate the business language into IT language for product teams to design and develop, planning and supporting the UAT process. This role requires experience with strategic business initiatives and strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes in the shopfloor and plant maintenance functions of SAP, to ensure the MFG & PM solution is serving the targeted business needs, brings the targeted business value and adoption by the business teams. Key responsibility • Partner with the different roles in the Bekaert operation community to deploy solutions and to ensure full user adoption and realization of the business case. • Have a detailed understanding of the digital business objectives and technology solutions and can translate high-level business vision, ideas and strategic goals into requirements for technology teams • Navigate the product and technical organizations to consolidate business input and write business and platform requirements for medium to large sized projects and projects that span multiple products • Work with business and technology team to obtain input, propose feasible options/solutions to meet requirements and recommend best approach based on priorities (such as development time, usability, maintainability etc.) • Own the collaboration process between the business and tech teams to finalize requirements gathering within an agreed timeframe • Submit final requirements (or initial stories, for agile methodology) for development and/or creative work to begin • Responsible for drafting the UAT plan and capturing input from users, and provide product team with consolidated change requirements • Facilitate scope change discussions and provide recommendations to Project Owners/Product Managers • Accountable for validating that business requirements are met through the project/product’s delivery cycle and helping the solution adoption Your Profile Skills & Competencies • Must possess strong communication and leadership skills • Ability to gather articulate and document business requirements, identify risks and manage trade-offs • Domain knowledge including understanding of technology and systems, knowledge of industry trends and familiarity with business strategy and goals for manufacturing and plant maintenance, such as manufacturing control, track and trace, industrial 4.0, predictive and preventive maintenance etc. • Financial background or proven competency in financial estimation and business case development • Demonstrated understanding or experience with configuration or parametrization of manufacturing and Plant maintenance solution such as SAP Production & Planning, MES systems(1-2) and SAP PM • Demonstrated knowledge of both traditional Waterfall and Agile/Lean methodologies, experience working in a matrixed technology organization and familiar with projects that span multiple cross-functional teams (nice to have) • Experience in converting business requirements and functional requirements to use cases, epics, and user stories with acceptance criteria • Demonstrated ability to quantify resource requirements and measure and communicate proposed project benefits • Strong risk assessment, problem resolution, negotiation, and influencing skills • Demonstrated ability to engage both developers and business partners to achieve target outcomes • Strong written and oral communication skills in English. Additional language knowledge of Dutch, Spanish or Chinese is a plus. Education & Experience Required: • Bachelor degree or above with 5-8 years relevant experience, or equivalent through experience. • 8+ years of overall experience, 3+ years into manufacturing solutions - SAP PP,PM, MES system • Additional education or certification in the area of production is plus(Lean, 6 Sigma etc.) • Significant experience in delivering strategic projects • Experience in working with globally distributed teams and partnersThe digital transformation that Bekaert is going through has created a number of digital opportunities, such as this position!
