Open to Turkey, UK, Budapest, Ukraine, Poland, Netherlands, Romania and other locations across EMEIA

Role & Primary Responsibilities

The successful candidate for this position will be someone who can create and drive strong sourcing strategies and proactive candidate outreach, strong candidate experience, compliant systems management, understand recruitment methodologies on a global scale, and balance global talent acquisition metrics against business drivers. The ideal person is comfortable leading and advising client teams and comfortable bringing innovative ideas and strategies into the conversation. What You’ll Do

•Be a strategic and trusted thought partner to global business leaders and other internal organizations across Varian.•Drive recruitment strategies to deliver against Global TA’s metrics and Varian’s business needs. •Partner with hiring managers to create and execute against recruitment strategies and influence hiring decisions.•Act as the face of Varian to candidates, representing our brand and ensuring a superior candidate experience throughout the hiring process. •Partner with Finance, HR and line managers to develop the offer package, using systems and surveys to ensure competitive pay to market whilst maintaining internal pay equity•Build strong partnerships with talent acquisition specialists to ensure delivery against a compliant interview and offer process. •In partnership with GTA leadership, execute Varian’s long-term plan and Global TA’s strategic vision to continue building a solid TA foundation. •Utilize Workday and various tools to identify market trends and market dynamics across multiple geographies.•Leverage tools to assess candidate qualifications including remote interviewing capabilities.•Build and maintain strong networks and relationship to develop strong candidate pipelines.•Recruit with a lens of delivering a strong candidate experience.•Stay up to date with the global talent marketplace and business needs to forecast hiring trends related to Varian’s business.•Drive diversity recruitment strategies that align with Varian’s mission.

Preferred Qualifications

•Must speak good English and have experience supporting multiple countries across Europe.•Six + years of experience as a corporate recruiter or in an agency/search firm.•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/work experience. •Understanding of recruitment best practices and methodologies. Demonstrated knowledge of sourcing and networking.•Experience with recruitment sourcing tools, including LinkedIn and applicant tracking systems; Workday preferred.•Expertise utilizing market data tools and resources.•Ownership for Varian’s success and a strong passion for our vision, culture, values and mission •Strong communications and change management skills •Ability to influence and build partnerships and work collaboratively cross-functionally •Experience of working with cross-geography and multi-cultural teams •Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to juggle multiple clients and recruitment engagements across different time zones.•Appreciation for culture diversity and sensitivity to local requirements.•Proactive thinker with the mindset to deep dive for additional learning and development opportunities. •Unwavering commitment to continuous improvement to create the best possible engagement.


Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge: Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with HCM (e.g., Workday) or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired. Typical Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) and 8 years of related experience or Masters Degree with 6 years of related experience.
