Job Description
Cyber Security Analyst will support our security team by investigating and analyzing alerts, supporting vulnerability management program and supporting cyber incident response process.
Job Duties:
- Investigating and analyzing alerts triggered by our security infrastructure, users, or partners
- Perform host, network, and log analysis to determine the validity of alerts
- Support cyber incident response process
- Support vulnerability management program and remediation coordination
- Manage interactions with internal stakeholders in a professional manner
- Document and communicate findings in incident management platform
- Identify, analyze, and act on actionable threat intelligence
- Other duties as assigned
YOU MUST HAVE:
- 0-3 years of relevant security operations experience or 1-3 years of network or system admin experience
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead root cause analysis of problems
- Familiarity with Linux, Windows, and Mac operating systems
- Knowledge of malware families and network attack vectors
- Experience performing host, network, and log analysis from a variety of sources and platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to write simple scripts to automate repetitive tasks
WE VALUE:
- Operational experience with vulnerability scanning platforms (e.g. Tenable, Qualys)
- Certifications (such as): SEC+, A+, or related vendor certifications
- Experience with endpoint protection, detection & response solutions (e.g. CrowdStrike, SentinelOne), vulnerability management solutions (Nessus, Qualys, or Tenable), and security information and event management solutions (e.g. Splunk)
- Familiarity with cloud environments including AWS and Azure
