As part of our strategic efficiency plan, the Global Professional Services department is looking for a DevOps engineer to join our team. In this position you will focus on many areas of improvement, working on the agency trading business line.
We use an automated deployment pipeline for our managed Agency Trading platforms, based on standard, proprietary, or internally developed tools.
We are looking to expand the tools and processes in various areas:
- Packaging / reusability
- Deployment pipeline improvements
- Automated regression and performance testing
- Developing usage of containers and cloud based hosting
As a member of this team, you will actively contribute to the development of the tools in the backlog, but will also have the possibility to drive its content and suggest improvements based on your knowledge of common DevOps practices.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and optimization of Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery, with a primary focus on automated testing
- Collaborate with various teams involved in client platform delivery: Architects, Implementation engineers, SRE teams, QA teams
- Develop new tools to assist our implementation teams to increase their efficiency
- Develop and share DevOps culture across delivery teams and company
Your profile
- At least 3 years of experience in DevOps
- Computer science (or related) academic qualification
- Familiar with OOP and/or functional programming (Scala, Kotlin) in an environment with challenging performance demands
- Good understanding of the server components and concepts
- Experience with build systems (Jenkins / Bamboo / TeamCity, etc.)
- Solid scripting and development skills (JS, Python, Groovy, Bash)
- Experience with OS management, both Linux distributions (CentOS, Oracle, Debian) and Windows
- Experience with automation tools like Gradle & Maven
- Knowledge of container technology (Docker & Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of Software versioning tools: Git/GitLab/Bitbucket
