Your Tasks
As a Dispatch IT Technician you will be in charge of providing IT support services in the area of Targu Mures to one of our most imporant customer.
Main tasks will be:
- Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot Windows and any other authorized desktop software / applications
- Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot End User Workspace Hardware such as Desktop, Laptops, Printers, Mobile Devices, Video and Conferencing Equipment and any other authorized peripheral equipment and devices
- Perform general preventative maintenance tasks on devices and software
- Follow and execute instructions provided by Subject Matter Experts
- Provide onsite hand and eye support to Customers
- Accurately record, update and document requests using the IT service desk system
- Maintain a first class level of customer service ensuring that all customers are treated efficiently and in an appropriate manner
- Contribute towards reporting as per customer requirement
Our Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in the IT field or in a IT related area
- Comprehensive understanding of full range of Enterprise IT Services
- Detailed knowledge of installation and site environmental support solutions
- Applies extensive knowledge of the job skills, company policies and procedures to complete complex, specialized assignments/tasks in creative and effective ways
- Proficient Field Technical Support skill set
- Proficient knowledge of common Operating System platforms, installation and troubleshooting skills (Windows, Mac OS – desired but not mandatory)
Good knowledge on Hands and Feet - Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong Break / Fix skills Desktops, Workstations, Notebooks and Printers and Handhelds
- Broad experience of IT with basic understanding of Networks, Servers and Telecoms
- Experience including remote control of PCs and video conferencing knowledge
- Knowledgeable of basic IT asset management concept (updating Asset Management system)
- Strong communication skills verbal and written
- Fluent in Romanian and English
- Strong Customer relationship building skills
- Proven capability in client management in the context of demanding service level based contracts with penalties associated with below
- Driving License
- Availability to travel
