Front-end DeveloperClient Description:HCL Technologies is a multinational information technology services and consulting company with offices in 50 countries, a global R&D network, "innovation labs" and "delivery centers", over 187,000 employees, and its customers include 250 of Fortune 500 and 650 of the 2,000 global companies.Responsibilities:Developing polished user interfaces and UI components based on UI Designs and wireframes for a variety of brands in the Fiskars Group portfolio with unique visual identities and style guidelines (With one set of common markup for an interface)• Managing and further developing style guidelines, design systems and libraries for company-wide use for Fiskars Group key brands, owning the area together with UI designers• Supporting UI designers in feature implementation and collaborating with them to ensure that they can design interfaces that are technically feasible• Ensuring that frontend code follow industry best practices and meet accessibility standards• Developing alternative UI variations for tests such as A/B tests• Proactively suggesting design related improvements to UI components or user flows to support business growth• Supporting and guiding stakeholders in matters regarding own area of expertise and connecting with peers in other areas of the organization• Establishing and maintaining internal and external relationships that foster staying up-to-date with general industry best practices, emerging trends, technologies and toolsCandidate Profile:2-5 years of experience in working in a related field• Ability to ideate & develop solutions for various user interaction challenges• Ability to understand data & insights supporting the design process, empathy for the user• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment without extensive supervision• Excellent skills in responsive web development• Excellent skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and frameworks used in responsive interface development such as Node.js, React.js AngularJS etc.• Excellent skills in writing code that is performant, semantic and accessible• Excellent skills in writing code that adheres to established web standards and considerate of Technical SEO• Excellent skills in testing techniques and tools• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to communicate and present ideas for a diverse audience• High level understanding of with one or more industry tools such as Sketch, Figma, AdobeXD• Extensive experience working in a cross-functional, team-oriented, collaborative environment• Experience working in a multi-dimensional global organization• Experience with design thinking and agile methodologies
