Provide timely, formatted data and information to support risk analysis and decision-making process

Develop data monitoring tools which provide information to logistics and purchasing

Create data models to set up early warning systems
Creation of simulations

Develop data models to forecast market sizes, sales developments, and market share developments, taking different scenarios into account.

Attend meetings as required and support DeMa, BU PUR and BU Logistics with requested data.

Apply risk-based methodology to support sourcing’s and selection of alternative components or suppliers

Continuously maintain the tools, drive usage, and provide trainings

Identify opportunities to improve processes and strategies with technology solutions.

Provide input to data architects and IT departments on data requirements

Continuously exchange on data analytics, data science and analytical tools with internal stakeholders from Continental to ensure best-practice transfer.

Participate at leading events on data analytics to ensure up-to-date information on tools, methods, and processes.

Create Business Intelligence dashboards and data visualizations that provide clear insights.

QualificationsEssential Skills/Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in related field of study (Computer Information Systems, Computer Science)

2 or more years experience with Relational databases (Oracle or SQL server)

Data analytics Knime, Micro Strategy

Experience in (big data) data analytic

Programming language experience (.Net and Python)

Fluent in English. German is a plus.

Graphical display of results eg PowerBi

Understand and interpret data models (XML, JSON, etc)

Statistics / Six Sigma / Shainin experience

Desirable Skills/Qualifications

Working abroad or a degree of orientation skills in foreign cultures
