High Voltage Electrical Design Engineer in Bucuresti

Role description: As an electrical design engineer HV-substations your job consists of: Project leading, preparing technical documentation for every design phase in medium and high voltage electrical installations; Engineering the primary systems for energy transport and distribution grids with voltages up to 400kV; The projects you will be working on will range from engineering new installation (substations) based on current standards to expand existing installations by analyzing and adapting the existing situation in order to align it with the current standards; Generating cost effective designs of the substations; Power systems services, such as load flow studies, short circuit calculation, grounding calculation, cable calculation etc. Role accountabilities: Work with the project team to create all design documents and drawings, including layout drawings, single and multi-line diagrams, protection and control schematics, section and detail drawings and application of mark-ups for project built drawings; Apply engineering application software to complete engineering tasks such as cable calculations; Communicate and coordinate project activities with project leaders and team members from other disciplines. Qualifications & Experience: Mandatory: At least Bachelor’s degree (Electrical Engineer, Power electronics and electric drive or Electrical power systems engineering); Medium knowledge of electrical MV and/or HV primary design; Good knowledge of cable calculations, short circuit calculation and cable routes design; You can easily interpret electrical schematics of existing installations, current standards, suppliers’ specifications and scope documents as base of the engineering; A strong affinity for electrical engineering and willing to continue to build technical expertise; Minimum 3 years of experience in the domain; Strong English language skills; Good knowledge of AutoCAD. Nice to have: Accuracy and details focus; Technical and quality focus. Knowledge of specialized software (Revit, ETAP, EPLAN etc.); ANRE certificate IIIA/IVA.
