Industrial Engineer in Oradea

Purpose Statement: Design, develop, test and evaluate integrated systems for managing industrial production processes including human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics and material flow, cost analysis and production coordination. Key Job Accountabilities: Support the Creation and Maintenance of Engineering Time Standards and Engineering models prior volume production start. Lead lean manufacturing / lead time reduction activities within the focus factory. Lead Machine/Work Center Line Balancing. Lead and manage Manufacturing Layout optimization/development for new and existing customers. Lead development of process simulation models (Witness S.). Additional Accountabilities: Discuss with vendors, staff, and management personnel regarding purchases, procedures, product specifications, manufacturing capabilities, and project status. Review production schedules, engineering specifications, orders and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities. Review and verify quote standards on a quarterly basis at a minimum. Estimate production cost and effect of product design changes for management review, action and control. Study operations sequence, material flow, functional statements, organization charts, and project information to determine worker functions and responsibilities. Develop manufacturing methods, labor utilization standards, and cost analysis systems to promote safe and efficient staff and facility utilization. Recommend methods for improving utilization of personnel, material and utilities. Plan and establish sequence of operations to fabricate and assemble parts or products and to promote efficient utilization. Regulate and alter workflow schedules according to established manufacturing sequences and lead times to expedite production operations. Acknowledges and complies with the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards provided in the procedures and instructions that are specific to each field, documentation that underlies the proper functioning of the integrated management system of quality, environment, safety and occupational health. Minimal travel may be required to meet the needs of the business (estimated <10%). Additional duties as assigned. Education/Experience Qualifications: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required; Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred. Two (2) years of related experience is required; One (1) or more years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.
