IT Portfolio Manager in Piteşti

Responsibilities Manage the assigned IT portfolio/portfolios assuring strategic alignment with company strategy & return of investment for the business owners Deliver the agreed scope/time/budget for the projects/programs which are running under the assigned IT portfolio Partner with IT business partners & business owners to assess business outcomes and benefits Lead teams with direct and indirect reporting responsibility Develop management standards to guide the portfolio and keep a high-level overview of everything within the portfolio Establish & take ownership over portfolio governance ensuring transparency & traceability for all the portfolio items Assess risk on portfolio level and implement the right contingency measures to address it Prioritize IT projects & programs based on the best use of the available resources maximizing the return of investment Actively advise & influence senior leadership decisions based on portfolio evidence & outcomes Analyze portfolio performance and identify ways of improvement Drive new initiatives related to the IT portfolio from the inception to the delivery phase Qualifications and Experience 10 years of experience managing large-scale programmes involving significant technology delivery (especially software engineering) Solid understanding of project/programme management methodologies and their practical application Hands-on experience on project/programme/portfolio governance Strong influencing skills, with the ability to land key decisions with senior leaders and key business stakeholders Strong financial acumen combined with a strategic approach, focused on business value & return of investment Portfolio risk management experience Strong interpersonal and management skills to lead and motivate a team of professionals Ability to advise and support all business stakeholders Strong proficiency in English
