CODE is an acronym for Consumer Digital Experience, which means we're in charge of the experience and services that will guide people in their wellbeing journey.Our teams are responsible for Martech, Access, Activation and Retention, Search, Partners usage, and Mobile Excellence. We develop and maintain Gympass's App, frontend and backend services, and Design System and work closely with product, UX, and data teams to create an excellent experience for the users of our platform.YOUR IMPACTBe responsible for overseeing a team of QA engineers ensuring the pace and quality of its technical deliveries. You must be seen as a technical reference by your team and should expect to code some key features, perform pull-requests reviews, and actively take part in all decisions for the processes, patterns, tools, and types of tests we will serve;Collaborate closely with the Technical Program Manager to evaluate the feasibility of tasks, choose the best strategy for assigning and splitting user stories and prioritize engineering issues and technical debts;Define the architecture, processes, and patterns for the quality of our product, making sure design docs are up to date;Plan, execute, and automate test scenarios on digital products and services, including pair programming (expected around 50%);Suggest strategies (white or black box) and test types suitable for different business needs;Work in multidisciplinary teams, boosting the quality mindset throughout the development cycle;Generate software test issues report allowing the monitoring and evolution of product quality;Perform load, stress, and performance tests;Plan and execute security testing;Integrate automated test suite into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Action, Jenkins, TravisCI);Spread development best practices such as code reviews, pair programming, TDD, etc.Main requirements WHO YOU AREBachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience;6+ years of experience in the development ecosystem of digital products;6+ years of experience in the application and implementation of quality processes, practices, and tools for digital products;Strong experience with API Automation frameworks (Mobile and Browser);Strong experience with Non-functional testing (Loead, Performance, Usability, Accessibility, Security);Versed in Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD);Experience with monitoring, observability, and KPIs tracking;Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills;Experience in Agile ecosystems;Good communication skills, including verbal and written English and Portuguese.Nice to haveThe following would be considered a plus:Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA and Confluence);Experience with AWS;Experience in our Tech Stack in general.Benefits & PerksWe're a wellness company that is committed to the health and well-being of our employees.
