Region NCE > SBU NCE Service > Field Service II Tulcea Vestas Eastern Europe and Austria (part of Vestas Central Europe) is a Sales Business Unit covering Austria and Eastern Europe countries including Romania. We are responsible for the sales, installation and service of wind farms throughout these regions. We main to be the No. 1 performing business unit within Vestas and we aim to make Vestas Central Europe the best place to work. Responsibilities The Service Lead Technician (f/m) is responsible for:• Day-to-day operational leadership and hands on support• Maintains Vestas/Non Vestas equipment, materials, processes and procedures in accordance with business requirements, develops and monitors task execution schedules and delegates tasks to technicians• Support of the Service Area Supervisor, act as interim when needed and collaborates with other internal departments• Support the availability of the wind turbines related to a restricted group of wind farms assigned• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks• Report turbine conditions and collect turbine data for research analysis• Ensure Vestas health and safety procedures and quality requirements are followed Qualifications • As minimum education, Technical School experience plus 4 years of electro-mechanical repair experience is required• A Technical Degree in Electronics/Mechanical Technology plus 2 years of electro-mechanical repair experience• A minimum of 2-3 years experience in Vestas operations centers• Recommended to have knowledge of and teaching experience with troubleshooting techniques, including use of schematic drawings and interpretations• Recommended to have experience in inventory control procedures• Good knowledge in English language• Good knowledge in SAP Competences • High Customer service skills• Capable of instructing and support problem solving situations• Professional approach to all assigned tasks • Demonstrated leadership capability What we offer We are a team of skilled and committed colleagues who are all enthusiastic about wind energy.
