MR Clinical Education Specialist in Alexandria

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Support the MRI Clinical business primarily in the Northeast Zone*. You will serve as the primary contract for clinical integration training, and handover of equipment, options and upgrades. This position will be responsible for delivering on-site training to customers to optimize their proficiency and ensure that their needs are met.

You are responsible for

Training & Education

Deliver on-site training and education to customers to optimize their proficiency and ensure that their needs are met. Adhere to Philips training processes and guidelines and established customer site policies. Assess and document user competency, award continuing education credits, and complete related documentation. Serve as a subject matter expert on basic products and applications. Be proactive in keeping abreast of current medical knowledge and technology. Assess customer’s workflow and clinical needs and advise on products and services solutions to meet their needs.

Customer Support

Troubleshoot, diagnose, engage appropriate resources, escalate, resolve, follow-up, and document equipment, applications and customer issues accordingly. Provide on-site clinical support. Act as a voice of the customer by providing feedback on the customer's experience and needs via the customer feedback process.

Sales & Clinical Marketing Support

Partner with sales, upon request, to optimize the results of the clinical site visit and product demonstrations. Communicate potential leads to sales counterparts. Contribute subject matter to include clinical protocols, sample images and clinical/technical tips.

Compliance

Complete all required training, documentation, and reports per established processes and guidelines. Maintain company assets (i.e. computer, company vehicle, cell phone, etc.).

  • Extensive overnight travel required (80%) by car, air and/or train. Some weekend and international travel is also required.

    To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Associate Degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 3 years of MR clinical experience preferred or two years of experience in a field applications role.

  • Must be registered and in good standing with appropriate credentialing body for specific modality. Must be certified with ARRT with an advanced registry in MR.

  • Effective analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, critical thinking, organization, project management, and priority setting skills

  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills to execute training curriculum and professionally deal with a diverse set of problematic circumstances that surround difficult or demanding customer situations in a friendly and constructive manner using adult learning based guidelines.

  • Excellent customer service, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills (i.e. Microsoft Office skills)

  • Proficient conflict management and influencing skills

  • Practical knowledge of clinical applications and post processing products

  • Job operates in the hospital/medical environment and remotely from home office location.

  • This position will require you to meet all customer specific mandates such as vaccinations and or screening tests.

  • As part of the qualifications for an MRI Clinical Service Specialist and for your own and others health and safety you cannot go into a scanner room with any ferro-magnetic metal in or on your body or clothing. 

  • This position will require you to meet all customer specific mandates such as vaccinations and or screening tests.

  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.

  • * The Northeast territory includes: CT, DC, DE, MA, MD, ME, NH, NY, RI, VA, VT, WV and East PA. Candidate must reside in a city within their territory that holds the majority of their customer base and be located near a major (non-regional) airport (within a 1-hour drive) to be considered. May be asked to cover other territories as needed.
