Operations Manager. in Bucuresti

I’m looking for an Operations Manager with experience in the gig economy, ride-hailing, delivery, or digital tech services to join a fast-growing tech company that’s expanding its footprint in Romania. This role is key to scaling daily operations, enhancing service quality, and driving engagement in a dynamic, app-based business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise daily operational activities ensuring smooth delivery of services to drivers, couriers, and clients;

  • Develop and execute strategies to improve driver engagement, increase retention rates, and meet financial targets;

  • Use data analytics to monitor operations and inform decision-making aligned with market trends and business goals;

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and headquarters to ensure alignment and support expansion initiatives;

  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, managing expectations and resolving operational challenges;

  • Lead, motivate, and develop the local operations team to achieve performance goals;

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field;

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in operations management, preferably within gig economy, ride-hailing, delivery, or logistics industries in a tech/app environment;

  • Proven ability to scale operations and improve efficiency and profitability;

  • Strong leadership and team management skills;

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach;

  • Experience managing stakeholders and partnerships;

  • Fluent in English and Romanian (written and spoken);

  • Passionate about modern technologies and smart city solutions;

  • Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills;

  • Positive attitude, collaborative mindset, and resilience.
