The role The role Working collaboratively with the local/regional Account Managers, Sales & Services Leaders and global Consulting to maximize opportunities and generate business with large and strategic clients. Leads and prepares service offerings & negotiations Coordinates complex decision-making processes and overcomes objections to capture new business opportunities. Provides the (technical) direction required to resolve complex issues to ensure the on-time delivery of solutions that meet customer expectations. Provides advanced commercial (& technical) consulting and advice, developing proposal efforts and solution design. Coordinate and execute projects as outlined in the charter with or without Project Management support. Sales support and scoping for relevant Consulting projects and services. Support and advice on 1st-level escalations of strategic and complex customers. Provide strategic, unbiased and objective services which assist organizations in their Consulting projects/programs. Meeting with multi-national clients to present recommendations, requirements, licensing, maintenance and support frameworks agreements and approaches based on research data (from assessments or other sources) or after project-based working in the customer environment. Growing revenue and supporting customers with gaining the most from our services, increasing service satisfaction in order to cross-sell/upsell actionable items Provides consulting advice to (senior) IT & Company leadership and sets the strategic direction for customers based on SWO solutions and products. Managing/providing solutions to support local (senior) consultants in effectively managing the client projects. Provides feedback to the customer & SWO service organization and drives improvement from lessons learned from customer engagements. Serves as a role model, sharing knowledge gained, providing council and mentoring to team members What we need to see from you What We Need To See From You More than 5 years of experience required in a pertinent role, having worked in a large complex global organisation, with similar experience gained from working in Merges and Acquisitions, Procurement, Legal, Commercial, Project Management Industry certifications focused on specialist Solution areas like Licensing, Technology Platform, Project Management, Procurement In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with relevant service platforms like Snow, Flexera, ServiceNow, Apptio etc. In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience for one of our major vendors (Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, SAP); additional vendors’ exposure is an advantage Industry certifications on and in-depth knowledge and experience in IT Asset Management(Hardware as well Software and Cloud) Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (use of pivot tables, functions, macros) Intermediate to advanced MS Project skills Advanced project and service management skills Advanced Negotiation and data-driven decision-making skills German full professional proficiency #LI-EI1 Job Function Cloud & Software Services
