This role is part of the Procurement Operations function and the main scope is to cover a series of administrative activities such as on-boarding of suppliers onto Colt’s purchasing systems, supplier due diligence and risk assessment.
Role is key as well in ensuring supplier information is kept up to date and accurate so to support the need for bulk communication to our vendors
Key accountabilities
- Setup suppliers onto the Colt procurement system (Ariba, SAP)
- Perform supplier due diligence before onboarding them (Credit Checks, Refinitiv WorldCheckOne, Risk, sustainability)
- Ensure the database is accurate and always up to date
- Regularly cleanse data
- Deactivate suppliers that have had no spend for the last 18 months
- Manage Supply Risk process by conducting regular vendor checking (D&B reports) and managing the VRM portal (Vendor Risk Management tool)
- Review the vendor management data quality and implement the corrective actions liaising with Accounting team.
- Regularly review the supplier base and ensure no duplications have been created
- Support the Ariba / SAP data integration quality

Relationships and key contacts
- You will be working closely with the Colt procurement business partners
- You will be in liaising with various requesters from the business as well as the accounting team
- You will be in constant touch with Colt suppliers
Role specific requirements
Skills & Experience
- Experience of working effectively within a fast moving, multi-national organisation
- Excellent English, both oral and written, is a pre-requisite; another European language would be advantageous
- Competent in Excel
- Good understanding of data and database management
- Some Banking understanding
- Proven ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
- Ability to understand and respect diverse EMEA cultures

- Degree level qualification would be advantageous
