We are responsible for authentication and authorization of users across all of Adobe’s products and services. As such, security, availability and UX are paramount. The mission of the security team is to protect the user’s data and you, as an Identity Security Software Engineer will be responsible with implementing security features, building or enhancing security-focused services and further hardening the authentication/authorization flows. If you are an experienced Java developer with a passion for delivering results and an interest towards software security, you are the right candidate for us.Responsibilities:Work in an agile team to build a secure and reliable service, owning multiple features of the product.Evaluate the current architecture, determine risks and opportunities, and come up with proposal for mitigation and improvements.Design, develop, deploy and monitor features to enhance security of app integrations & user authentication processes.Use your superior technical skills to coach junior members of the team.Research various technologies and define architectural improvements. Build prototypes or core features.Drive adoption of new technologies and contribute to continuous increase of technical knowledge across engineering teams.What we are looking for:5+ years industry experienceB.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalentDemonstrated, deep knowledge of J2EE stackKnowledge of Web SecurityObject oriented design principles and design patterns, strong algorithmic and logical skillsSolid foundation in software engineering process & best practices (unit testing, build automation, continuous integration)Good written and verbal communication skillsSpoken and written English proficiency
