What you’ll achieve The Senior Data Engineering Advisor will analyze complex business processes using data to provide insights which will drive the actions our bots take. You’ll combine business acumen, master data knowledge, data analytics, advance modeling and statistical analysis against large data sets to generate meaning from data. You will integrate the queries and business logic into a robust production environment along with code from other team members to provide end-to-end resilient and scalable solutions. You will: Analyze complex business processes using data to provide insights Develop underlying queries and data analytics to meet required business logic. Build robust linkages between data queries and automation programs considering resiliency and scalability Develop a deep understanding of maintenance contract data and other relevant sales master data Ensure proper logging and storage of operational data for reporting and analysis Adhere to data governance standards, development methodologies and service management policies Take the first step towards your dream career Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here’s what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements 8+ years of relevant experience e with a Bachelor’s degree and minimum 2 years’ experience with SQL and Python Experienced with either one of the databases PostgreSQL, MS Server, Oracle and good understanding of data structures, data warehouses/schema, Oracle and Salesforce Knowledge with ETL processes and data retrieval methods. Strong communications and presentation skills ; ability to blend business requirements with technical solutions Strong in design principles, quality driven and modular scripting techniques. Data-savvy, critical thinker with strong attention to detail.
