This position will support the Finance activities for Smart Energy (SME), a dynamic and growing Line of Business of Honeywell Process Solutions operating in about 15 Countries and 29 Entities across Europe. A leading provider on its market segment, Smart Energy manufactures residential, commercial and industrial gas and electric meters, including smart meters, software and data analytics solutions. We are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to be part of the EMEA Commercial Finance team and provide support to our Smart Energy business in northern Europe. This position will play a key role providing sales and margin analysis, SG&A monitoring and supporting all planning cycles. Responsibilities:
- Lead, coordinate and drive SME financial performances for the Country to ensure financial goals (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash commitments) are met while complying with corporate policies and procedures.
- Provide support in timely completion of reporting including: Sales, Margin, Customer orders and backlog analysis, monthly closing variance analysis; working closely with the project operation and ISC organization;
- Monitoring of performance for key metrics on a weekly, monthly, quarterly basis;
- Perform financial closing activities (Journal entries, P&L analysis and correction, orders stats, B/S verification) in sync with latest Controllership and COTA organization;
- Enhance information provided to leadership for business decisions
- Advise business leadership of opportunities and risks impacting business performance;
- Support Controller's department on internal and external audit requests
- Ensure compliance with Corporate Policies and Procedures
- Complete special and ad-hoc projects as requested to support business needs.
- Actively support new Bid proposals, drive pricing, FX, NPI analysis on a regular basis
- Support the planning cycles (SRO, AOP, Forecast) and the SIOP process
- Provide support to drive and track business productivity initiatives across multiple functions;
- Provide support in cash collection and past due reduction by better driving people behaviours, billing correctness, contract payment terms and milestone
- Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years related industry experience
- Bachelor degree in Finance
- Senior professional with strong experience on FP&A, finance and Accounting, able to work in an international and multicultural environment
- Excellent in MS Office Tools (Excel, Word, Access and Power point)/ Knowledge of SAP and Hyperion (HFM and Essbase);
- Strong English required
- Demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience in supporting the business;
- Ability to identify & resolve business problems;
- Team player with ability to work in a cross functional environment;
- Highly interested in process improvements & bringing added value to the business
- Ability to adapt & adjust to a changing environment
- Ability to analyze data as well as present a clear picture (summary)
