How could you help us do this?
We are searching for an energetic, open-minded Senior IT Internal Auditor to join a growing Internal Audit function. Responsibilities for this role will include assisting with preparing internal audit methodology documents and leading and/or performing audits alongside our co-sourced Internal Audit Partner.
As the function grows, additional responsibilities will include greater responsibility and input into the IT audit plan. The work collaboration includes a strong liaison with internal stakeholders across the business at a senior level and will report into the Assurance Manager – Internal Audit.

What kind of work would you be doing?

Carrying out audits in accordance with the Internal Audit plan, either leading audits independently or performing them alongside our co-sourced Internal Audit Partner;

Provide accurate and timely information to the IA Manager and IA Partner to support the successful delivery of the FY21 Internal Audit Plan (decision support and audit planning);

Working directly with business leaders, senior stakeholders and IA Partner to facilitate delivery of the annual Internal Audit Plan;

Working with and coaching junior members of the team;

·Identifying critical issues and performing audit tasks including audit scoping, action tracking, risk and control matrices and assurance analysis;

Assisting with preparing internal audit methodology documentation;

Assisting with the preparation of the Internal Audit Plans for Audit Committee approval including liaising with senior internal stakeholders;

Providing assurance guidance to the business.
What achievements should you have so far?
-
We think in order to add immediate value and to succeed in this role, you should have at least 3+ years of experience as an auditor in Big 4, preferably experience in the IT industry sector;

Qualifications in business or economics; degree and/or accounting certification (e.g., ACA/ACCA) preferable;

Good knowledge of Cyber Security, systems implementation and ITGCs;

A base level of experience in SoX and risk management would be an advantage;

Advanced English is a must, another European language is an advantage.

Of course, if you have at least 3+ years of finance & audit experience, you will know all about finance principles, practices and tools.
You must have excellent analytical, project management and business application skills;
Also, strong business acumen skills, the ability to work well under pressure and the ability to communicate well with senior stakeholders in a remote setup would be very helpful;
You need to be able to get your colleagues as excited about your activity as you are, so you need to be confident and persuasive. Being able to articulate the benefits and outcomes of your ideas is essential to gain buy-in.
