SaaS Service Excellence Automation team is looking for a (Senior) Principal Cloud Service Automation Software Engineer to lead Service Automation initiatives for the Oracle SaaS products portfolio. If you have over 3 years of professional experience; strong analytical skills and hands-on programming experience in Java and Python we would like to talk to you.
The SaaS Service Excellence Automation team is responsible for developing software solutions to automate the resolution of customer service requests. Our engineers develop cutting edge service automation solutions to proactively identify and eliminate issues before these issues impact customers' business operations. Our solution portfolio includes fully integrated diagnostics data collection and analysis capabilities for the Oracle SaaS products portfolio. As a member of the SaaS Service Excellence Automation team, you will join a unique group of highly skilled engineers in a stimulating, results-oriented work environment. Requirements:
- Hands-on programming experience in Java and Python is a must.
- Programming experience in one or more of JSP, XML, SQL, JavaScript, and Perl (a plus)
- Cloud (Fusion, Taleo, BigMachines, Marketing Cloud) Applications experience (a plus)
- Data Science, AI, ML, NLP experience (a major plus)
- Outside the box thinking and desire to make a difference
- Ability to convert high-level concepts into high impact initiatives.
- MS or BS in Computer Science and at least 3 years of professional experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product.
Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Ten or more years of project management, product design or related experience needed.
