The Headlines:
Molson Coors Beverage Company is looking for a highly motivated Senior Developer, working in Bucharest, Romania and part of North American IT Solution Delivery team,to lead or take part in the development and implementation of software applications, with focus on Salesforce applications, working with solution designers, architects, quality engineers, project managers & scrum masters and other developers around the world to ensure software solutions meet business needs.
Following software development practices & life cycle methodologies throughout product development, this role will participate in building product deliverables according to specifications and design.
The position is based in Bucharest, Romania, part of MC GBS Romania Development Center (RDC) and will report to a Solution Manager in Bucharest.
The Responsibilities[WHAT is to be delivered]:
- Developing solutions, actively engaged in Software development & configuration, under the technical direction of IT management taking a product through the entire lifecycle of analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation. Collaborating with other software developers, business analysts, architects and IT professionals to implement solutions
- Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of solution development within time and cost constraints, analyzing complex systems requirements and preparing design documentation. Participate in creation and documentation of user stories.
- Develop all aspects of an application design – coding for security, encryption, error logging, debugging, scalability and performance, plus creation of development environment configuration, and application testing.
- Perform unit and system level testing on developed software applications to ensure performance, scalability, coding, caching, security, encryption, session state management, and error logging and testing.
- Assist with deployment, provisioning & support activities, write and maintain technical documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections, troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing software.
- Act as subject matter expert or manage projects, pilots, and proof of concepts, including as technical leader.
- Support solutions in production: bug fixing, enhancements, change requests, incidents & problems and other support needed for operating a solution in production.
The Qualifications [HOW we expect the employees to work]:
Required:
- Bachelor’s science degree
- 4+ years experience with software/application development, both front and back-end. Proficient with developing, deploying, customizing and integrating software solutions.
- 2 + years experience in development and configuration of Salesforce applications (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud)
- General knowledge of project management, Waterfall, Agile and DevOps concepts & principles
- Ability and willingness to quickly pick up new software languages, technologies, and frameworks
- Ability to balance a wide variety of projects in a fast-paced work environment
- Internally motivated, able to work proficiently both independently and in a team environment
- Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Good command of English language
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s science degree in Computer Science, Automation, Electronics IT or a related discipline
- Experience in other e-commerce or CRM applications (eg. Drupal, Vendavo, Blue Yonder/JDA, etc)
- Experience in programming languages (eg. Java, javascript, php, sql, dot.net, etc)
- Experience in Waterfall/Agile/Scrum/DevOps methodologies, frameworks and related tools (e.g. Jira)
- Experience in working with 3rd Party Service Providers (vendors)
- Travel up to 15% of the time.
