We are now recruiting for a skilled Applications Embedded Software Engineer for our Brasov/Bucharest, ROoffice. The ideal candidate is expected to assume a technical leadership role in design, architecture and development of our next generation of Automotive In-Cabin Monitoring technologies.
She/he should have a proven record of designing, optimizing, and deploying neural networks-based embedded software applications across a wide range of use cases. In addition, the candidate is expected to demonstrate a structured and detail-oriented approach to their work. The candidate should be self-motivated and focused, comfortable collaborating with geographically dispersed teams, a passionate team player, and eager to make a difference as a member of a motivated team of machine learning researchers and practitioners.
Responsibilities :
- Design, architect and develop embedded software libraries and demo applications by working closely with the machine learning researchers to identify optimal SW architecture and implementation solutions
- Contribute to the development of internal tools and frameworks for data acquisition, analysis and evaluation
- Work with Product Management team to define and develop demo applications and proof of concepts
- Work with automotive OEM/T1 accounts to define usecases and requirements
Required Skills:
- Master's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or similar fields
- 5+ years experience as Software Engineer with proven track record
- Proficiency with C / C++ , and development on embedded platforms (e.g. ARM, TI, NXP, Qualcomm) and operating systems (e.g. Linux, QNX, Android)
- Hands-on experience with real-time and multi-tasking programming, experience with embedded tools and SDKs
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, excellent written and spoken communication skills, and a strong drive to solve problems and disrupt the status quo
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git and development methodologies such as Agile/Kanban
Additional Skills (would be added advantage):
- Software optimization on ARM/NEON, TI/C66x, GPU
- NN accelerator SDKs such as TensorRT, SNPE
- Experience with embedded machine learning and software development in the domain of Computer Vision
- Experience with software in the ADAS domain, sensors, ISP and vision pipelines
- Experience with automotive processes (ASPICE), quality standards, functional safety (ISO 26262) and testing requirements
