Job Description:The Lenovo DSS-G (Distributed Storage Solution for Spectrum Scale) solutionsdevelopment team is seeking a Solutions Engineer with strong technicalknowledge of networking in the context of Linux clusters (including networktechnologies such as InfiniBand and high bandwidth Ethernet). The candidatewill be a member of a global team developing/maintaining the DSS-G softwaredefined storage solution integrating Spectrum Scale RAID, x86 servers usingLinux, external storage enclosures or internal NVMe, and networking. Responsibilities:Specific tasks required for this position include:- developing/maintaining/testing scripts that install solution softwarepackage with focus on networking components (e.g., firmware, drivers)- administering the network infrastructure used in the team’s development lab(switches, cabling, adapters)- advising technical sales teams from a network architecture perspective whoare designing solutions- supporting service teams installing/configuring solutions at a customersite from a network configuration perspective- supporting product engineering by establishing root cause/providing fixesfor field issues regarding networking relative to this solution.
