Our team is looking for our next engineer with a passion for current web technology, extensibility, collaboration on shared code, solving problems at scale, and pixel-perfect user experiences. You’ll also be part of the vibrant Bucharest office, which is considered the #1 company to work at in Romania.As a Senior Engineer, you will distill designs into code that integrates with frameworks at Adobe and other 3rd party platforms. You’ll participate in overall strategy, key technical planning activities, such as feature discovery, system architecture, requirements definition, project scope, and delivery expectations. You’ll sharpen your skills and learn how to take ownership of important aspects of our international products.What you’ll be working onCollaborate closely with our “family” of designers and engineers in San Francisco, Tokyo, Warsaw, and Hong Kong to build and provide technology leadership to help guide our strategyWork on Creative Cloud extensibility, web apps, and plugins for XD, Photoshop, Illustrator to solve internationa user needsExplore, build and prototype new technologies in Asia including Mini Apps for platforms like LINE and WechatHelp transfer our international-first solutions and innovation to Adobe’s established productsAssist in the discovery process of developing new solutions to AdobeHelp develop and expand a new standard for design system tokens and components (DSP) to connect designer to engineer handoffsPartner with international enterprises to look for new opportunities for them and their ecosystems.What you’ll bring to the teamMust-Haves:Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar roleExperience in Web technologies: HTML, Javascript, React, CSS, Typescript, etc.Knowledge of back-end technologies (e.g. Java, Python, Node) and as well as front-end frameworks (e.g. Angular, React)You are driven by impact. We work on Adobe’s international-first products by rapidly exploring, prototyping and releasing new forms of experiences, products, and business models — as well as extending existing ones. We take an entrepreneurial approach to looking for fresh international approaches, cultural differences, technologies, partnerships, use cases and users, and then craft for the edge cases. We research, deliver strategies, design and develop apps for them. By focusing on international users, we cast our net wider than the current customers to learn, experiment and build new tools.
