This role acts as the focal point in sourcing to communicate the preferred supplier capabilities to the design teams and program managers. Works closely with the COE Category Manager to align activities to the commodity specific strategic strategy. Implements Supply Chain Management strategy to drive commercial leverage, achieve lowest total costs, ensure effective asset management, continuously improve quality, delivery, and cycle time performance, and ensure supplier involvement in product developmentKey Responsibilities• Strategic sourcing role for electronics, PCBs, metals, packaging, plastics • Sourcing localization strategy • Manage Site Category and Commodity Strategies including spend analysis, Benchmarking, Cost, Market Analysis and Global Technology / Economic trends • Deliver Productivity and Working Capital Objectives, Ensure Supplier Performance to meet Quality and Delivery Objectives, • Right and Fast execution of strategies to align with business Growth and New Product Introductions • Negotiation, Contracting and supplier performance processes • Improve Working Capital through Payment Terms extensions, Inventory, and Lead time reductions • Drive and execute Annual and Strategic Plan with supporting strategies • Ensure Relationship development and management with key Suppliers• Align with Site Sales, Marketing, Technology, Business, Operations, Finance and Quality and Other Honeywell Businesses • Manage Supplier selection, RFQ and RFI process, Negotiation, CAPEX, Contracting and supplier performance processes Qualifications•University Degree•English language•A clear communicator with excellent negotiation skills•Around 3 years of Supplier Management Experience and experience in a similar position•SAP knowledge or other ERP systems.•Microsoft proficientWe offer:•Fuel expenses coverage or company bus in case of commuting to Lugoj/ Relocation options•A culture that fosters inclusion, diversity and innovation•Market specific training and ongoing personal development•Career growth opportunities;•Experienced leaders to support your professional development;If this is your dream role, then we'd love to hear from you! We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
