The HRIS Specialist partners with Group HR, Group IT and business leaders to understand current issues and needs and to ensure that proposed processes and systems respond to those requirements and align to the overall business & IT strategy. Through a strong collaboration with Group IT and external suppliers, the role ensures the delivery of optimizations of the HRIS systems. Beside of managing exciting projects, the role supports the smooth operations of SuccessFactors HR modules, with a key focus on reporting and analytics, including the handling of day-to-day operational issues and change requests for system enhancements. YOUR CHALLENGES Implements HR strategy within area of functional responsibility in alignment with Group guidance, policy, and procedures Uses and upgrades SAP SuccessFactors HR modules in support of functional processes and procedures. Recommends changes to system functionality and supports systems implementation/upgrade in area of functional responsibility (specific modules) Works with the HR Services team to optimize support for the relevant processes and monitors service delivery Defines, implements, and continuously optimizes HR processes and procedures within area of functional responsibility in alignment with Group IT and Group guidance, policy, and procedures Proactively supports the installation, management, maintenance, and optimization of internal and cross-functional processes related to IS solutions/services, SuccessFactors, FUSE learning Partners with Group IT and external suppliers on the delivery of any optimizations of HRIS systems. Supports delivery of the appropriate IS solution/service according, in time, in budget and at quality by testing the functionality and performance Identify needs and requests of the Group and designs the customized HR reports and analyses Ensures benchmarked processes are fully documented as requirements and ensures proper configuration in the systems Actively contributes to VAT’s People Analytics strategy to optimize HR processes Ensures VAT further improves HR function by optimally defining HR processes and related digital systems Serves as liaison between HR and other departments, teams, and external vendors YOUR COMPETENCIES At least 5 years of working experience in IT related fields, of which minimum 2 years on SAP SuccessFactors HR modules Bachelor Degree, preferably with a focus on information technology Understanding of HR processes / requirements, business needs and how to translate them to functional and technical solutions Basic controlling/finance understanding Strong numerical, analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills A keen interest in transforming HR Strategy with Data Science Solid interpersonal skills and communications skills Proven project management skills Proficient in English, additional languages will be considered a plus Interested?
