About the roleWe are looking for a driven Sysadmin that enjoys working with the latest technologies and that is passionate about real-time scalable systems and does not back away from challenges. You will be here to develop and create innovative solutions and solve real-time client challenges, collaborating in a distributed international team. Responsibilities Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualizationInstall and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processesTroubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issuesProvide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructurePerform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover proceduresLead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptionsActive monitoring system performanceOnboardings, off boardings, managing accounts/users and equipmentKey Skills2-4 years of system administration or network administration experienceSystem administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network related fields are a plusWorking knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, or equivalentStrong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocolsStrong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocolsNice to have:Experience with scripting and automation toolsVideo Streaming knowledgeBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information TechnologyFluent EnglishExcellent verbal and written communication skillsYou have the ability to deal with uncertainty and handle pressure whilst solving problems and conflictsWe are looking for intellectually curious people, passionate about the bigger picture of how technology industry is evolving, ready to ask difficult questions and deal with complicated scenarios.
