Visma IT & Communications AS is now looking for a passionate Cloud Architect to strengthen the Cloud Service Brokerage team. The Cloud Services Brokerage is the single interface between the cloud providers and the group providing combined technology, people and methodologies to ensure Visma’s place as one of the leading cloud software providers in Europe. As the Cloud Services Brokers in Visma we provide our expertise, along with the best tools and practices to manage the use, performance and delivery of cloud services for the entire group.

The successful candidate will be self-starting and service-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You engage and motivate your colleagues, and contribute to create a good working climate in the group.

What are your main responsibilities?
Be the primary technical contact point on inquiries related to Public Cloud for internal Visma teams and Vendors.
Be a technical expert and advisor on AWS for internal teams and customers.
Participate and build best practices in the Architecture Board of Visma.
Research and develop value-adding services for the Public Cloud.
Evaluate and implement vendor-related programs and initiatives within Visma.
Perform FinOps on an Enterprise Level.
Ensure that day to day activities in the Cloud Brokerage are correctly handled.
Ensure Governance and Security in Cloud on an Enterprise level.
Automation of daily tasks and implementation of new solutions.
Train and provide knowledge sharing for operational resources.
Accelerate solution and product teams in their journey to Public Cloud.
Contribute as an advisor in various Public Cloud projects.
What are we looking for?
Minimum 3 years higher education: BSc or MSc in Economy or IT or relevant experience;
Hands-on experience with Public Cloud platforms, especially AWS;
Minimum Associate level Certification on AWS.
Strong skills in communication and cooperation in combination with a customer-oriented mindset.
Genuine drive to deliver quality and continuous improvement
Highly capable of independent work.
Skilled at planning, organizing, prioritizing and executing simultaneous projects and activities.
Demonstrated resilience, diplomacy, influence, relationship building, and problem-solving skills in a variety of situations.
What gives you an advantage?
Certified in ITIL will be considered an advantage;
Additional Public Cloud certification is an advantage;
Azure and Google Cloud Platform experience is an advantage.
