System Test Engineer in Sibiu

We are looking for our client (engineering services supplier) from Sibiu specialists: System engineers. The business is in a continuous growth and works with 1st Tier and OEMs within automotive industry. If selected, your working place will be at the customer of the company we are promoting this job for. The employment is on an undetermined period but your work will be project - oriented and every 2 years you might work for another customer of our client, depending on the dynamics and needs. The good part is that the experience is diverse and enriching. The minimum experience requested within the field is 2-3 years. Either Way, it is not only about the time but also about the learning and knowledge. Responsibilities - Analysis of project requirements (functional, base product, communication) - Develop, review and maintain test specifications (manual and automated) - Perform manual and automated tests and ensure traceability to requirements - Set-up the test environment (HW and SW tools) - Test automation, test environment updates - Estimate own tasks & activities duration - Track own activities according to project plan - Communicate delays - Analyse own test results for completness and correctness - Detection and reporting of errors / findings - Deliver test results, create reports on performance of tests - Know and apply the test process - Reviews, Project meetings, Team meetings - Potential: responsibility for a functionality or a small project Requirements - Basic electronics knowledge - Usage of measurement equipment (Oscilloscope, Multimeter, Climatic chambers, HIL systems, etc.) - C/C++ programming skills, Python - Relevant experience in the field of testing (functional, communication, environmental, mechanical, etc.) is preferred - Communication protocols knowledge is a plus (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, FlexRay) - Structured approach, initiative and flexibility - Self confidence and strong communication skills - Good knowledge of English, written and spoken - Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automation or similar fields - Agile methodology & tools knowhow represents an advantage
