Sourcing is the proactive searching for qualified job candidates. The goal of sourcing is to collect relevant data about qualified candidates, it is typically part of the recruiting function performed by the HR professional in order to find suitable candidates for open positions.Sourcing suitable candidates and briefing them on the opportunities offered by the projects;Developing sourcing strategies;Advertising vacancies by drafting and placing adverts;Write and post technical job descriptions;Source potential candidates on specialized platforms;Parse specialized skills and qualifications to screen IT resumes;Perform pre-screening calls to analyze applicants’ abilities;Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates;Update and follow up candidate’s database;Conduct job and task analyses to document job duties and requirements;Keep up-to-date with new technological trends and products.
