Whether you’re looking for an internship or to start your professional career, at HPE you’ll be in a position to create and collaborate on projects that challenge and inspire you.The Telco Cloud & Automation Architect works in all the domains of HPE Communication Technology Group, the entity that is dedicated in supporting the Telco & Media organizations in designing and envisioning the technologies and solution for their future of Digital Communication.The activity will regard designing, proposing, realizing and evolving virtual hybrid environments that will host the Core Network and IT alications.Key technologies involved are Virtual infrastructure mangers (VMWare vCLoud, Red Hat OpenStack, open source distributions), Cloud Native Stacks (VMWare tanzu, RedHat Openshift, Ranger, other opensource K8 distributions), Infrastructure Programming and Definition languages (Ansible, YAML, JSON, ), CI/CD/CT stacks (GitLab, Jfrog, Harbor Jenkins, other tools) and Telco standards such as ETSI MANO.The team is international, multicultural with members and customers across all Europe, MiddleEast and Africa.Travel may be required up to 50% of the time, while smart/home working is a standard practice t be alternated with office visit for the rest of the time.Agile patterns and practices are applied bot in the internal HPE interworking and with the customers, therefore knowledge of Scrum, SAFE or other Agile frameworks is a plus.Solid and Fluent English is mandatory.Encompasses multiple disciplines, including technology architects, solution architects, and enterprise architects. Architects: Are responsible for delivering business value to customers by architecting effective information systems solutions that address the customer’s business problems, needs and opportunities, in a manner consistent with the HPE's strategic and business goals. Have knowledge of architectural frameworks, methodologies, and tools and understand how to apply this knowledge to successfully deliver customer projects. Establish and maintain a professional working relationship at multiple levels both internally and with the customer by understanding the customer’s business context and their unique situation. Collaborate with both internal and external/industry experts to anticipate customer needs in order to facilitate the definition and development of the solution. Strong supporters of the professional development framework for their profession and use the knowledge and best practice derived from their professional associations to the benefit of their customers. Collaborate with project managers to ensure effective and efficient development, delivery, deployment, operation and support of these IS solutions. For larger engagements, a single active project is reasonable.Understands and applies information system or operational solution related modeling methods and tools.Can validate/evaluate if an information systems or operational architecture meets technical requirements and specifications .Familiar with multiple architectural, development and operational methodologies (, Zachman, TOGAF, ITSM, ...) .Applies appropriate methodologies and SME knowledge to resolve complex business issues.Business Acumen:Identifies risks and challenges the customer should expect to encounter with the solution based on similar efforts done with other customers.Develops Architecture Specification deliverables that map customer business requirements into specific technology or operational recommendations.Ability to apply business management and financial concepts, capital investment, financial modeling, and general aspects of business contracts.
