SCOPE OF THE ROLE: Ensures the legal requirement as a member of the Internal Prevention and Protection Service (SIPP), according to Lg. 319/2006 and GD 1425/2006. Coordinates the activity of Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Protection and Fire Prevention and Extinguishing, in accordance with the legal requirements and CIL Policies and Procedures. Helps to implement new procedures and good engineering practices in the field. Develops themes, plans and trains the company's employees on HSE & PSI. Performs specific inspections and audits and ensures the extinction of the established measures. REQUIREMENTS: Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in related field Prior experience in Health& Safety or another relevant role (between 5 – 10 years) Knowledge of agribusiness market is an advantage Risk assessment certification Labor protection and P.S.I. certification (Coordonator/Inspector SSM - Securitatea si Siguranta in Munca) Strong written and verbal communication skills Proven teamwork orientation towards the other departments in the company Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving Attention to detail Excellent organizational and time management skills Confidentiality of data English language at working level and Romanian native Proficiency in MS Office POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Organizes and performs actions of methodological guidance and control of the entire activity of labor protection, occupational hygiene and fire safety, ensuring normal working conditions, verifying the way in which the legal provisions in force are followed by those who, according to the law, are responsible for their application, notifying the company's management on the measures to be taken in order to eliminate the deficiencies found and proposing sanctioning measures for violations; To ensure the risk assessment at work and to propose appropriate prevention measures; To develop specific working instruction according to the work carried out; To control all workplaces, in order to prevent work accidents and occupational diseases; To ensure the information of the personnel in labor protection issues; To propose measures for the training of personnel with responsibilities in the field of labor protection, depending on the concrete needs; To be always a personal example by using appropriate protective equipment and by complying with all safety requirements and procedures; To recommend control measures and to provide advice on occupational health and safety standards and environmental protection, and to monitor their implementation; To ensure equipping the staff with individual means of protection and to participate in the reception of the collective means of protection; To keep work related accidents evidence; To propose sanctions and economic incentives for the way in which the labor safety requirements are observed in the organization and development of the technological processes at all the workplaces; To monitor the program for checking the health of employees, according to specific instructions; Checks at the due dates, the measures established at the previous own controls as well as those established by the superior control bodies; Checks and updates or obtains authorizations, licenses, approvals, certifications, standards necessary for the activity of the Company on Health & Safety, Emergency Situations, Environment; Keep records of waste management; Carries out and sends in time all the specific reports to the competent authorities and relevant institutions; Undertake actions for closing non-conformities or, as the case may be, fulfilling the measures ordered by the Environmental Protection Authorities; Participates in the elaboration and application of the concept of fire protection at the level of the administrative-territorial unit, institution or economic operator; Proposes necessary budgets for the organization of the fire protection activity, the endowment with technical means for fire protection and specific protection equipment; Establishes the necessary personnel for the execution of the fire protection activity; Assign responsibilities to personnel in the field of fire protection; Controls the application of fire protection norms in the specific field; Guides and controls the activity of fire protection and analyzes the observance of the inclusion in the criteria for setting up voluntary or private emergency services; Establishes the content of the training program for personnel for health & safety at work and fire protection; Checks employees acknowledgement regarding specific norms of fire protection activity and health & safety at work; Verifies the compliance with the rules and measures of fire protection during operations; Verifies the existence and the operating conditions of fire prevention and extinguishing technical means; Investigates the context of fires and establishes the probable causes of their occurrence. Proposes measures to prevent the reoccurrence of a similar event; Implement and verify the implementation of COFCO Intl. procedures regarding Occupational Health & Safety, Fire Protection and Environmental Protection; Verifies by signature the general work permits, hot work permits, working at height work permits and confined spaces work permits; Any other tasks set by the hierarchical superior according to the organizational / departmental needs within the limits of competence of the position held; Is responsible for following the working program; Respects all the provisions from the Collective labor agreement, internal procedures and Policies; Plan and conduct EHS trainings with employees; Prepares weekly, monthly specific EHS reports; Patricipates in the weekly EHS meetings; Ensures the obtaining of the operation authorization from the EHS point of view before starting any activity; Keep track of high risk and specific risk areas; Prepares the fire safety Intervention Plan for all work points in the company;
