Description & SummaryYou’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. The TechOps DP SME is responsible for operations of multiple complex stage and production applications and data lake environments. While this is not a direct development work on the platforms, the position holder will perform code release deployments and technology upgrades to these environments and will be required to oversee, troubleshoot and monitor issues that require knowledge of development languages and infrastructure (cloud and on prem).Certifications Preferred: Azure, Terraform, ISC2 CCSP Certified Cloud Security Professional, ITIL Certification(s), or CCNA/P5+ years of experience in engineering Preferred Knowledge/Skills:Good communication skills;Communicating with all technical teams and levels of the organization;Resolving complex application and technology issues relating to assigned applications;Demonstrates extensive abilities:Using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, validate requirements, deploy, and troubleshoot deployments of code and technologies managed environments (stage and production);Demonstrating communication skills and the ability to drive continuous performance improvements with the stakeholders, vendors and technology subject matter experts;Troubleshoot and operate Terraform IaC (infrastructure as code);Incident management, Change management & Problem management;Documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and performing knowledge transfer to others;Demonstrated proficiency in at least one development language such as Java, Perl, PHP, Powershell or Python;Managing Azure / AWS / GCP or distributed VMware environments;Demonstrating knowledge of at least one container technology (such as AKS, Docker and /or kubernetes) and one database technology (such as. MySQL, MongoDB, MS-SQL, or Postgresql);Working with code management tooling such as Github or Gitlab;Possessing knowledge of CI/CD pipeline tooling and deployments;Demonstrating Linux and Windows administration experience;Possessing experience in configuration management across a multi-platform estate such as Ansible, Puppet or Salt.
