The opportunity
Do you love writing Java? Do you have a strong background in Computer Science and want to tackle hard problems in a fun technical stack? Do you like making your customer’s day even better? If you shouted ‘YES!’ 3 times, then this is the role for you.
You’ll join an independent, fast-moving team backed by the resources and talent of Adobe. We’re fun, hard-working, experienced engineers that are equally capable of giving and receiving technical guidance.
What you'll do?
- Develop efficient, reliable, testable cross-platform code
- Regularly review and tune test code to achieve a high standard of software quality, code coverage, and performance metrics
- Develop example code illustrating standard methodology usage of our API's, and write and maintain documentation, to enable internal clients to rapidly integrate our technology into Adobe’s products
- Work with other Adobe teams advising on our technology, investigating bugs, and collaborating on providing new features
- Work in a small, collaborative, highly productive, and high output team environment
- Participate in inventing technology that has an impact across Adobe, writing patents, and being active in our internal community of software development professionals
What do you need to succeed?
- You are in the final year of your Bachelor, Master or Ph.D. studies or you have finished your studies a maximum of 6 months ago
- Former projects or internship experience developing Java
- Solid computer science fundamentals, including design patterns, algorithms, asymptotic complexity, parallelism, and database schema design
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
