Primary purpose of the role
Assisting Accounting Dept. with daily follow up and analysis of sales results, preparation of reporting schedules, scorecards and other financial analysis.
Point of reference for credit control acting also as an advisor in Credit Policy and Limits.
Responsibilities and objectives
Business Analysis
The main responsibilities will be in collaboration with the Chief Accountant to:
Perform benchmark controls and reporting as needed; Secure a high quality of data in all financial reporting; Constantly review business processes to ensure maximum efficiency; Participate in internal audits; Collaborate with all levels of the organization;
Credit control
Credit control of both new and existing customers; Constantly review and maintain credit limits on existing accounts according to credit policy; Customer files administration (creating new customers in Scala and customer’s data update in Scala); Customer database administration (CTP); Release or place on 'Hold' customers with past due accounts following the rules of the credit policy; Monitoring of insolvencies and bankruptcies, registration of claims in court; Dealing with collection agency if legal action is needed; Reporting of receivables and expected credit losses.
Finance
Booking bank statement in SAP; Booking expense reports; Keep track of promissory notes / booking promissory notes; Issue advance / reverse advance invoices; Clearing for customer statements; Customer/vendor reconciliation; Release/analysis customer orders; Support sales and service organization, with regards to customer credit; Scan of invoices and send to BRNO; Cooperation with lawyer and other third parties as needed; INTREC reporting;
Management’s representative for QA, environment, H&S
Lead the creation, implementation and maintenance of the IMS processes; Reports to the top management about the IMS operation and on any improvement needed; Monitors the efficient and actual operation of the analysis and audit system; Monitors the implementation of the corrective actions; Ensures the organization’s preparation for the registration (IMS certification) and the interface with third parties regarding the auditing and the certification; Ensures that the awareness on the requirements is disseminated within the organization; Maintains the relation with the external parties on the IMS issues; Ensures the internal auditing, evaluates and provides reasonable assurance that the Integrated Management Systems are functioning as intended and will enable the organization's objectives and goals to be met.
The Ideal candidate
Experience requirements
3 year of working experience in financial department.
Minimum of 1 year of working experience as Credit Controller.
Knowledge
Excellent computer skills (MS Office package)
Fluent in both English and the local language
Knowledge of the local market
Educational requirements
University Degree in Business or Economics or the equivalent through experience
Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Finance is a plus
Ability and willingness to learn new things and to work with new systems is considered a more important skill that prior experience in similar functions
