Accounting Department Director in Târgu Mureş

We are looking for a​ Accounting Department Director to join our E.ON România team. If you are interested, please apply by 30.01.2022. Areas of responsability Strategic Business Partner for the management of E.ON Romania Group companies, responsible for the steering and the improvement of financial accounting activities of E.ON Romania Group companies in order to increase its financial performance and to optimize the utilization of resources. Plans and coordinates the entire set of specific financial accounting activities for all E.ON group companies in Romania, in order to prepare, in an accurate and timely manner, the financial statements (statutory and IFRS, stand alone and consolidated) and to provide/ report specific information and dedicated reports to the management of E.ON Group companies in Romania, in order to support the decision-making process, ensuring a faithful compliance with the legal accounting requirements and principles Coordinate the financial accounting specific processes, namely (1) accurate accounting representation of commercial/ financial transactions performed by E.ON companies in Romania and (2) preparation of (i) the statutory, annual and half-yearly financial statements, and (ii) ) the reports to the E.ON SE group (Q Reports and other ad-hoc reports), in compliance with the statutory financial-accounting (RAS) & international (IFRS) legislation and the standards imposed by the E.ON SE group Coordinate, supervise and ensure the efficiency of the internal control system for the financial and associated processes for all E.ON companies in Romania Create a proper environment and ensure a continuous improvement of the coordinated financial processes, of related intra-company and inter-company processes, stand as the promoter of the continuous increase of the processes’ efficiency level (including automation/ digitization) Hold the information sharing & training sessions to the representatives of other finance and operational departments on the subjects related to the (new) requirements of financial legislation with effects on their activity Collaborate with other departments within the Financial division and offer them support in order to achieve the individual and group objectives This position is eligible for part-time/ full-time Your profile Education: University studies, degree in economics - specialization in Accounting An international diploma in financial management/ accounting (e.g. ACCA) would be an advantage Professional Experience: Minimum 5 year experience in accounting, in a leading role, in an international company Extensive knowledge of accounting standards (both IFRS and RAS) - mandatory Advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Power BI) şi good command of SAP (FI/FI-AA, BI) Languages: English (fluent) Skills and abilities: Ability to work under strict deadlines, to prioritize the workload and adapt it to changing priorities Strategic thinking, organizational abilities and well developed planning and analytical skill High commitment and resilience, solid analytical and conceptualization skills, autonomous and proactive High degree of performance orientation paired with an efficient and collaborative style Excellent interpersonal and communication skill, able to lead and motivate people, with proven team leadership
