Job Summary
AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Bilingual Accounts Payable Analyst for full-time employment. This position can be based out of one of our Greater Toronto Area (ON) offices or also from our Montreal, QC office. The Bilingual Accounts Payable Analyst will apply understanding and knowledge of accounts payable transactions, systems, and services to meet business needs.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Partnering with Offshore team in order to execute all steps in the payables process

Analyzing, researching, resolving, and/or escalating supplier inquiries

Monitoring aging reports regularly for exceptions

Monitoring of vendor records for compliance

Prepare daily cash forecast for Finance group

Assisting with month end closing, by calculating accrual, preparing journal entries and performing miscellaneous A/P reconciliations as requested

Assisting with new process implementations and extensive testing of all AP upgrades

Identifying and suggest implementation of process and system enhancement to continuously improve operations

T4A filing for independent contractors
Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree +2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Excellent written and oral skills in English and French
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field

5+ years of related experience

Strong quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail

Oracle and MarkView experience a plus

Experience in a Shared Services environment

Advanced Excel experience with VLOOKUP and pivot tables is strongly preferred
