Job summaryThe Retail Business Services Team in Romania is responsible for providing support to Amazon websites. The team’s activity supports several processes such as: 1. Identify and implement corrective and upstream fixes to eliminate recurrent business problems 2. Investigate and explore new territories to widen current program opportunity space As a Subject Matter Expert your tasks will include: - Gathering data using all available resources, so as to analyze the current state of the carried processes/activities; Using SQL dailyIdentifying existent problems/ improvement areas for the current processes/activities.Generating alternative solutions that address the identified problems/ areas of improvement; proposing them to the RBS management team, and implementing them;Creating a system of criteria to determine priorities in applying the improvement actions, depending on the urgency and impact that they might have on the customers; presenting the options to the RBS management team;Creating a system that monitors the impact of the applied solutions on the efficiency of the processes/activities. Adapting further improvement solutions depending on the data obtained;Communicating with team impacted by the processes carried by the department so as to provide consultancy and support;If there is a possible default on quality, the owner of the position should flag the escalation in time to the manager or lead, then propose and implement solutions by creating specific documents (COE);Establishing KPIs to report on processes/activities and presenting them to the management team/internal customers;Developing new processes/systems as a result of improvement activities; documenting and thoroughly updating the SOPs;Mentoring/training colleagues with the purpose of improving competencies at team/department level; occasionally he/she may deliver trainings to new hires, at the manager’s request.
