Join us on our journey of growth!Associate Director, Global Logistics Procurement We are looking for qualified and motivated candidate for the position of Associate Director, Global Logistics Procurement based in Bucharest, Sofia or Zagreb. About the position This position will report to the Director, Global Logistics Procurement and will take the responsibility to drive Logistics Category Strategies on a Global scale. On top of a Global category responsibility, this position will support the Europe logistics activities by conducting local or regional projects mainly connected to warehousing and last mile distribution. This role strives to generate and deliver ongoing value through year-over-year savings and to ensure the supply of category goods & services for Teva. This role is accountable for the development of procurement strategy, category management, supplier development, contract negotiation, risk management, stakeholder engagement and ongoing continuous improvement activities for all categories in scope of the role. This position is expected to make a significant contribution to meet the ambitious company cost reduction and cash optimization targets. Main Responsibilities: • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships across the functions to influence category strategies • Build category governance models to establish highly integrated ways of working with regional procurement teams and key business units on a global level• Guide cross-functional teams in the application of the Sourcing Management Process in adherence with company policies • Develop and deploy an effective strategy to increase Teva’s ability to leverage volume globally, regionally and locally.• Conduct supply market research to provide category intelligence and benchmarks on industry dynamics, trends and best practices. • Develop and coordinate all sourcing activities across the categories, including directing and approving competitive bidding (RFx) processes managed within the regions. • Develop effective supplier negotiation plans and strategies• Strengthen Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Programs with key suppliers to foster innovation, ESG targets and track performance metrics to ensure ongoing continuous improvement. • Interface directly with Finance to document savings, P&L benefits and cash flow impact Main Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree with a major or concentration in Business Administration, Finance or Supply Chain• 3-5 years’ work experience in international logistics and/or procurement showing evidence of progression into strategic roles; experience operating on behalf of the Procurement Function within a large matrix organization preferred• Degree Level and/or relevant certification is preferred i.e. Six Sigma, CPM, CPP, etc.• Preferred certification in Domain knowledge and experience is underpinned by the appropriate credentials i.e. ISM-CPM, CIPS, etc. and industry recognition awards• Ability to translate strategic vision into tactical plans and manage the change required to execute• Demonstrated ability in influencing cross-functional teams, managing multiple simultaneous projects and delivering quantifiable results• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal – the ability to gain senior leadership support• Strong Interpersonal/Relationship Management Skills• Strong analytical skills and conceptual thinking that drives strategy and creates innovative options• Solid business judgment, able to anticipate impact of decisions and initiatives• Strong financial modelling and problem solving skills• Excellent supplier negotiation and conflict management skills• Proficiency with the 5 or 7-Step Sourcing Processes preferred• Language requirements: Proficiency with spoken and written English• Travel Requirements – International: 15% If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, send us your CV in English.
