Associate Sales Specialist - Hospital Patient Monitoring, Connected Care in Alexandria

In this role, you have the opportunity to

be a part of Philips in:

A Hospital Patient Monitoring Specialist Development Program designed for a group of diverse hires with little or no outside sales experience.

You will participate in a rigorous twelve (12) month training program, potentially leading to a 3-year field-based assignment, as Hospital Patient Monitoring (HPM) Specialist Team member within the USA.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Attending all assigned training opportunities (virtual or face-to-face) as directed;
  • Working with your assigned Business Manager mentor, as directed, to gain understanding of financial targets for equipment and service, both quarterly and annually;
  • Building knowledge around sales Funnel Health and Management;
  • Engaging in monthly calls with counterparts to understand the HPM Sales Process;
  • Successfully managing all assigned company assets;
  • Understanding the roles of other Sales & Service teams across Philips HPM;
  • Other sales learning projects and activities as assigned by manager or SAS program;
  • Understanding the identified initiatives and their strategies for driving business across HPM;
  • Completion of milestones per Program requirements with a “passing” evaluation (i.e., Solutions, Products, Mobile Apps, Business Tools);
  • You are a part of:

    A diverse national Specialist trainee group, working with the local HPM team (i.e., Sales, Service, Project Mgmt., Training, Operations). You will work with an assigned mentor(s) to build understanding and expertise of our HPM Products and Solutions

    To succeed in this role, the following skills and experience are required:

  • Four-year college degree;
  • Inside or external Healthcare Sales experience (preferred);
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite;
  • Motivation to develop knowledge and skills required to contribute as an HPM Specialist;
  • Desire to learn Capital Sales through teamwork, resource utilization, customer focus and relationship building;
  • Opened to relocation anywhere within the assigned Zone, or optionally anywhere across the USA;
  • Ability to maintain 50%+ weekly travel schedule, or as needed based on the demands of the business
