Meet the team - Know the projectProject: Document StorageWe have a challenging opportunity for an ambitious Infrastructure Engineer that wants to take care of our cloud service: Visma Document Storage.Meet the teamLet’s talk about people The team is divided between Norway and Romania, the working language is English and our development methodology is Agile/Kanban. Our colleagues work in small teams on a project basis in close contact with the other development teams.In “normal times” we travel 1-3 times per year either inside Romania or to other locations, mostly in Northern Europe. The purpose can be team building, workshops or training.We value security, code quality and use of patterns, and we expect that you have a conscious attention towards security and quality in all deliveries. Know the projectOur service is hosted on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform and is built on top of Microsoft's SaaS stack using Microsoft .NET technologies. Some of the SaaS solutions that we are using include: Azure AppServices, Azure Storage, Azure Redis Cache, Azure SQL Server, Azure Cosmos DB (NoSQL), but also server-less technologies like Web JobsJob tasks:Automate provisioning of cloud infrastructure and deployment processes in AzureOperate a high availability SaaS ecosystem, ensure system is available in respect to our uptime requirements; response to alertsMaintain and ensure our CI/CD pipeline is running with as little human intervention as possibleConstantly analyze and plan system scaling on different levels (web server, application servers, database, storage, linked systems)Ensure system is secure, identify and act together with the rest of the team when DDoS, Brute force or other type of attacks happenConfigure Network and ServicesWhat are we looking for? You should have good knowledge and experience in the following areas:Operating and administering database servers (relational/MS SQL or NoSQL/ Cosmos)Networking and firewallsPowerShell/JavaScript or Python scriptingMonitoring systemsSource control systems (Git, GitHub)CI/CD pipeline (TeamCity and Octopus Deploy)Security automation and scripting It would be an advantage if you also have knowledge and experience in one or more of these areas: Cloud systems and cloud suppliers; Azure, AWSContinuous integration and delivery systemsOne or more programming languages such as C#, JavaScript or PythonAzure services: AppService, Redis Cache, Key Vault, Azure StorageWant to get to know us better?
