Description
Coordination and implementation of technical customer requirements in internal specifications, in order to achieve robust products for the Contitech Emission Reduction Solutions segment (Air Induction Systems and Engine and Drivetrain products).In order to achieve this goal:
• Support the customer, together with the senior application engineers, in finding application technical solutions
• Support Contitech Sales for optimal pricing and assist during customer negotiations
• Project set-up for achieving development gates in accordance to customer’s schedule
• Technical coordination together with potential suppliers (internal / external)
• Intercompany cooperation for development and cost saving projects
• Elaborate/evaluate feasibility studies for RFQ involving the technical service departments
• Align with customer specifications and standards in terms of product design and testing
• Developing robust design concepts and design proposals to fit customer requirements
• Coordination of 3D modelling together with CAD and CAE
• Coordination of 2D drawing creation in terms of customer specifications and tolerancing requirements
• Project set-up (APQP flow G35-G90) for customer and internal projects
• Setting up design and production validation in accordance with customer requirements and standards, evaluate test results and align with customer and project team
• Coordination in leading DFMEA and assist in setting up PFMEA
• Lead and assist in structural problem-solving projects (A3, Six Sigma)
• Setting up BOM in SAP for prototypes and series parts
• Coordination of tool design for Prototypes and series parts
• Support in R&D projects QualificationsUniversity Degree in Technical field
Minimum 3 years work experience in related technical field
MS Office knowledge
Good English knowledge (spoken and written)
GD&T knowledge is an advantage
