Purpose & ObjectivesSolution Delivery Center (SDC) is part of SAP’s Customer Services and operates through 20 centers Globally. SDC is responsible to deliver SAP’s portfolio of services using Integrated delivery model (right shoring approach). SDC’s Solutioning Center (SC) is responsible for solutioning bids for customers through SAP regional Solutioning Centers. The objective is to adequately leverage SDC remote capabilities / services in solutioning process. SDC assigns Solution Leads for a qualified opportunity, who is accountable for solutioning and estimation of a Bid. The RoleYou will work proactively with the Market Unit and SDC stakeholders to get a good understanding of the opportunities which need support and build an outstanding network of solution architects and solution leads to engage them in the bid process. You will in turn support the execution of key milestones of the bid process (solution review, risk review) in such a way the all stakeholders are involved, and a fast and compliant process is executed.By gaining an overall understanding of the SDC service portfolio and SAP solution you will be able to work closely together with service owners to get in-depth understanding of the offerings to integrate them into service proposals and drive innovative service offerings to the bid team. Role RequirementsAs a Solution Lead you will be: Responsible for Solutioning assigned deals, with high quality, within agreed SLA’s/timelines & meeting the expectations of the respective market unit, the end customer Should be able to make optimum use of SDC portfolio of services with a right mix of on-site, nearshore and offshore resources. Expected to participate on a need basis - In customer workshops from onsite/remote to understand customer needs & scope Responsible to liaise with Subject matter expert(s) from the SDC and/or the Market unit to define scope, estimate efforts, define a schedule within aggressive timelines Strive to continuously improve the bid quality, resulting in less iterations and higher win rate Build mutual trust, collaborating closely within the team to share knowledge & to leverage complimentary skills Flexible in your approach & quickly grasp new areas/service offerings Available for 0-10% travel WORK EXPERIENCE & SKILL SETS 5-6 years of total SAP consulting experience or on another ERP solution Overall architecture and implementation methodology, desirable to comprehend customer needs & solution appropriately Previous Bid management / Solutioning experience is highly desirable Project management & team leading is a plus Strong customer focus, networking, communication and presentation skills Ability to work effectively under pressure in international and virtual teams English required, other European language is a plus Nice to have SAP Certification in SAP Financials/Logistics/Technical solution area is a plus Experience with SAP as Core Digital Enterprise is a plus Project Management certification BENEFITSWe offer: full time permanent employment, competitive salary and performance bonus, company car/car allowance, pension plan, medical and life insurance, lunch allowance, possibility to invest in SAP shares We are SAP SAP innovations help more than 400,000 customers worldwide work together more efficiently and use business insight more effectively.
