Billing Specialist in Alexandria

Job Summary/Company:Sparks Group has teamed up with a consulting client and is searching for a proactive Billing Specialist. The Specialist will be responsible for preparing and analyzing customer invoices and account receivables. They will review all invoices and provide support, timely and accurately. Responsibilities:Supervise billing functions and ensure timely and accurate processing invoices Maintain records of all customer payments, receipts, and other transaction recordsRespond to billing inquiries in timely manner and process adjustments, and correctionsApply company policies to resolve a variety of billing/invoicing issues and customer inquiriesUtilize billing and payable software modules to complete the billing processAnalyze billing procedures and provide recommendations to management for process improvement Manage invoicing data to ensure accurate reporting for audits Work on special projects independently or as part of a teamEnsure adherence to laws and best practices while dealing with customer dataSupport special projects or initiatives Qualifications/Background Profile:High School Graduate, College degree preferred3+ years of billing experience, ideally with a small companyExperience working in a general office is requiredStrong knowledge of billing and invoicing techniques and proven ability to manage the process flow of contract-to-cashProficient with Microsoft Office applications; intermediate to advanced Excel skills Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with customers and provide excellent customer supportAbility to multi-task and work independently in a face-paced environment with minimal supervisionSolid analytical, technical and customer service skills Qualified candidates should apply below AND call Sparks Group for additional details.
