We are looking for a Business Analyst to support strategic initiatives of the group through business insights, based on market research and data analysis. The role will be reporting to Group Commercial Director and work closely with business strategy and leadership team.

Location: Bucharest, Romania

Responsibilities:

  • Research, analyze, interpret, and present data related to markets (construction, telecom, energy), operations, finance / accounting, economics, customers, and other information related to the business.
  • Collecting and interpreting data, information, assimilating statistics, making recommendations based on data collected
  • Compile and analyze data points, perform variance analysis, discover trends, and patterns, make forecasts and business strategy suggestions
  • Create and deliver high-quality analysis, charts, graphs, presentations, automated (dashboards) or ad-hoc reports for management
  • Identify trends and provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization
  • Utilize different research methods and Excel functions to organize and analyze data 
  • Utilize internal data and analytics services to collect insights and consolidate into actionable items, reports, and presentations
  • Review and benchmark competitive products and services and highlight their factor of success
  • Integrate best practices in researching tools and protocols
  • Interact with business representatives to capture, understand, and prioritize requirements, provide solutions
  • Identify implementation alternatives, emphasizing pros and cons from technical or business perspective
  • Review business requirements, request relevant clarifications, track feedback of all relevant parties
  • Make sure all team are aligned in terms of requests, needs, terms and priorities
  • Act as a liaison between commercial teams and other internal departments to drive projects at group level and achieve common goals

Requirements:

  • Previous experience 1-3 years in financial, business analytics and /or commercial roles
  • Great communication skills, particularly in translating data insights into business decisions
  • Data analytics skills – data extraction, consolidation, preparation
  • Very good Excel knowledge for data analysis and modelling, with experience in reporting and data visualization tools (Tableau or other will be a plus)
  • Analytical thinking skills and problem solving, good communication and presentation skills, high quality standards, innovation, creativity, strong sense of organizing, excellent command of English
