Role: Our technical team is on the lookout for new colleagues to join them in the quest of providing an efficient bridge between business needs and technical solutions. In this position, you will operate in Data Platform team and will be faced with different challenges.
Team is responsible to analyze, develop and test the new Data Platform for NN Romania, that will service multiple business lines, using Azure components.

Responsibilities:
- Provides counseling and support in formulating business needs and requirements.
- Translates business requirements into functional specifications, system design specifications, reporting requirements.
- Able to define Key Performance Indicators from a business perspective and aid in defining these from a data perspective.
- Understand business needs and uses appropriate methods for data collection, identifying what information needs to be collected to answer business questions
- Runs queries against data to analyze and interpret / look for patterns in data to check how it fits the business requirements and how accurate it is (perform data profiling, understand and explain anomalies).
- Structures data on concepts and identifies relationships between concepts while considering business requirements as support for data model.
- Suggest the best business solution and analyze the ability to change of the application environment, assesses the impact of changes of existing environment: application, infrastructure and operations.
- Act as liaison between NN entities (IT and Business departments) and IT solutions external providers.
- Ensure that workflow and internal (IT) procedures are applied within the business process and it is compliance with NN external and internal regulations and procedure.
- Assist other IT roles with requested information during the implementation phases.
- Offers functional expertise support and guidance on test coverage and results.
- Requirements:
- University degree - preferable computer Sciences or related technical disciplines.
- Minimum 4 years of work experience in BI domain.
- Good understanding of data warehousing concepts.
- Good understanding of data models, database design, data flows.
- SQL competencies.
- Experience in process mapping and use-case driven design techniques.
- Power Designer experience is a plus.
- Experience in insurance is a plus.
