Their bold vision is a sustainable and autonomous future where business, industry, and humanity can thrive.  The Polish R&D center offers a hybrid style of work, as well as the opportunity for knowledge exchange with talented subject-matter experts and true enthusiasts.  Currently, we are looking for a new colleague to join Hexagon's innovation journey as  C++ Image Processing Engineer  To support innovation by: ·       Designing and implementation of image processing software components in the area of 3D Reality Capture with focus on various mobile platforms (Linux, Android, iOS)·       Responsibility to set up qualification tests to ensure image quality and implement quality improvements within the whole imaging pipeline·       Integration of SW component and optimization of image quality, requirement discussions and unit/system tests·       High performance realizations of terrestrial laser scanning image processing-based workflows·       Contribution to the intrinsic and extrinsic calibration of our camera systems·       Interacting with various distributed development teams on different hardware and software platforms Add value to Hexagon's mission with: ·       Open mind and creative spirit and passion for disruptive & unique products·       Proficiency in software development using languages such as modern C++ and Python·       Imaging pipeline processing experience and knowledge in the area of image quality processing·       B2 English language skills (written and spoken)·       Knowledge on Image compression algorithms, color spaces, filters and camera calibration model including utilizing standard libraries like OpenCV·       Experience in the area of GPU's (OpenGL, Vulkan) and parallel image processing algorithms (OpenCL, CUDA) can be beneficial·       Open-minded person with a creative spirit and passion for disruptive & unique products·       A relevant university qualification (Master, PhD) in computer science, mathematics or engineering What you enjoy: ·       International collaboration with diverse teams·       Working on variety of projects and solutions that support divisions across the entire organization (Xalt, Cloud, HxDR)·       Development opportunities within Innovation Hub (people management, technical project management, project management, individual expert)·       80% Tax-Deductible Costs (Autorskie Koszty Uzyskania Przychodu)·       LuxMed private medical care·       Benefit sports cards ·       WARTA group life insurance·       Fruit Wednesdays
