Visma is looking for a skilled and self-driven web developer to work with one of Sweden’s leading cloud-based ERP systems for small and medium-sized companies. The system is built with modern technologies, using Microsoft .Net with C# on the backend and HTML5, Typescript and ReactJS on the frontend, and is hosted in Microsoft Azure.
To be able to meet the request for new functionality we need to extend the development team with a number of developers.
You will work in the Visma R&D department that offers an inspiring environment with a wide variety of competences within development. The team is distributed internationally, and the team members are located in Romania, Sweden, Norway and Lithuania. The development organization is Kanban-based and uses modern collaboration tools for co-working with colleagues.
The team is highly skilled in their line of work consisting of UX, developers, infrastructure engineers, security engineers, domain experts and business analysts.
You will have significant responsibility in developing and maintaining mission-critical code that our customers depend on.
Who are you?
You are a service oriented and self driven person! You are team focused, and bring teamspirit to your colleagues. Of course, you also have a genuine interest in software development.
In addition to that, you are familiar with:
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React JS, Knockout.js
C# and the .Net framework, Visual Studio, MS SQL
Database modelling and development. Preferably experience with Entity Framework
Distributed systems, message-based communication
Azure, TeamCity, Git, Octopus, Continuous delivery
You have relevant education, and/or at least 3 years of experience from professional software development.
You are a passionate developer that enjoys writing clean, high-performing testable code.
Since you will work with colleagues in the international R&D organisation you need good spoken and written language skills in English.
